Course Brief

This course builds on the basis set by the prior studio, 'Localisations.' Though public spaces and urban surroundings frequently come together with standardized logic, they are also influenced by personal observations that may rethink and redefine their purpose. The purpose of this course is to explore into the technical aspects of architectural design, specifically structural systems, material performance, and construction methods. By bridging the divide between conceptual design and real execution, we produce precise construction documentation that is consistent with the overall objectives for the building. This covers specifications, quantities, and construction information for various materials.
